You may be having thoughts of hurting yourself (or someone else).

If these thoughts have developed into a plan any you know how you will go about this, you need to seek immediate help. If you are about to take steps that put these thoughts into action right now, then call this number on your phone – or text this 6-digit number – right now. If you aren’t sure, click on the link to learn the danger signs.

If you are thinking about it, and don’t know what to do next, there is something you need to know and remember. There is someone that loves and cares about you, and they don’t want you to take actions that can’t be reversed. That person may be a friend, a close friend, a loved one, a family member you haven’t seen in a long while.

They would say to you, don’t do it.

The Warning Signs of Suicide and What To Do

Don’t do it. (Video)

You also need to know about the one who loves you the most, and would also say ‘don’t do it’.

Don’t do it, because he has a plan and a purpose for your life that you can’t even imagine right now. He loves you so much that he has already given his life for you, for the express purpose of saving your life. The men and women who are listed below are combat veterans who have been on the path you are traveling.

They are NOT associated with the Veteran’s Affairs (VA) system that you may have already tried.  Some of these people have tried the VA also and found a better way. They are ready willing and able to show you a better way.
Call them – based on the branch of service, campaigns, conflicts, geographic location – however you are led, but CALL THEM.

Here is a list of combat veterans from various campaigns who are trained when you need to talk things through or get a new perspective. They are not psychiatrist or psychologist, but they are willing to give you a sounding-board, and maybe help you over ‘mountain that’s too tall’ or ‘a river that’s too wide’. Be prepared for some straight talk, with words of encouragement.
